This was my competition entry for a competition on HABBO australia. :3 We had to make a loveable mascot for the website: [link] (Yapstuff.org is a website that gives you heaps of information about breast cancer & stuff)
 Sticker: [link]-------------------------------------------------------------------- The story of Lulu the Pink YAP cow:Lulu was once an ordinary brown cow who lived in a paddock with all of her other cow friends. Lulu was known to be cheerful, happy, funny and very energetic until one day her spots turned pink! The cow doctor examined Lulu and told her that she had spot (breast) cancer and she wouldn't have very long to live. All of Lulu's friends were extremely sad from this news but instead of wallowing in her own sadness, Lulu decided that she must fight and survive this disease. After a long and gruelling 2 years Lulu the pink spotted cow had won her fight with spot (breast) cancer. She was overjoyed and full of happyness, all her friends were so happy with her recovery and found inspiration in her, that they too can accomplish anything. The days went on and Lulu noticed that her spots didn't turn back to brown. She was cancer free, and full of energy like she was before she was diagnosed, but her spots didn't change colour at all. She realised that maybe she was supose to do something more, she wanted to help other animals and humans with spot (breast) cancer and prove to them that they too, can win. Her friends were sad to see her go, but Lulu knew she was doing the right thing. One afternoon she left the paddock and looked around for some signs.. some sign that she may be needed somewhere.. Then suddenly, a paper flier flew into Lulu's face and it read: "YAP.stuff.org are looking for a YAP mascot that will promote the YAP brand and message! Auditions will be held on the 26th of October, please be punctual." Lulu knew that this was it, it was her perfect moment to share with the world her story, and her success to help and inspire others and inform people about breast cancer. She went to the audition on the 26th of October and told Roz, Cindy and all of the YAP embassadors her story. They fell in love with her and her story and she became the YAP mascot, her dreams were fulfulled that day. After Lulu had become the YAP mascot:After Lulu the pink spotted cow had become the YAP mascot, she was taught that spot cancer was actually called "breast cancer" in the human world. From then on, her days were filled with happyness as she helped spread YAP and breast cancer awareness at fundraisers, events, campaigns and on the internet. She also has her very own cute personality, she loves brightening someone's day with pink flowers that she picks from her own garden, and special pink YAP cupcakes that she makes herself. She also has a special pink breast cancer ribbon on her chest to remind everyone what she is about, and to spread awareness. Why I picked Lulu the pink spotted cow:Lulu is really cute, and very loveable. I created her story based on the story of Roz, the founder of YAP. Because without her, there wouldn't be a YAP at all. She fought and won breast cancer, just like Lulu the cow did and i think that is a very powerful message. Not only that, but i think the story of Lulu and her pink spots is very memorable and has a very lovely message about doing what you believe in, doing what you think is right, helping others and most of all: winning the fight with breast cancer. YAP is also about spreading awareness, and that is exactly what Lulu's job is.
